Felicity Bellmunt’s career in business and tax didn’t start in a corporate office — it started at the family dining table.
Growing up in a family business, Felicity was immersed in the realities of small business from a young age. By 15, she was already running day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll, gaining first-hand experience in what it truly takes to keep a business operating behind the scenes. That early exposure shaped her practical, grounded approach to tax and business advisory that continues to define her work today.
While studying at university, Felicity worked within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), supporting operations and training students in business administration and bookkeeping. This dual path — combining hands-on experience with education — naturally led her into business services and, ultimately, tax specialisation.
Over the past two decades, Felicity has advised and supported small businesses, professional firms, and corporate groups across a broad range of tax and commercial matters. Her work spans business structuring, capital gains and investment-related tax planning, exit and succession planning, employment and remuneration considerations, and navigating tax complexity across different stages of growth — including cross-border and residency considerations where relevant. Her focus is always on helping clients plan proactively, structure effectively, and make informed decisions well before critical events occur.
Alongside her strategic advisory work, Felicity has remained closely connected to the day-to-day realities of small business. She continues to support clients with practical bookkeeping foundations and system set-ups through MYOB and Xero-certified consultancy services, ensuring that strong compliance and reliable data underpin every tax strategy.
Felicity is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of The Tax Institute, and holds a Master of Taxation from the University of New South Wales. She has trained and educated hundreds of business owners, professionals, and teams over the years, with a strong focus on making tax understandable, relevant, and actionable — without the jargon

Tax Espresso was founded from Felicity’s desire to do tax differently. After years of seeing business owners come to her already overwhelmed or in tax stress, she created Tax Espresso as a proactive, supportive advisory firm — one that partners with businesses on the ground, provides clear guidance early, and empowers clients to feel confident and in control of their tax and business decisions.
Beyond her professional work, Felicity is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She actively supports initiatives aligned with care, dignity, and education, and believes that strong businesses have an important role to play in contributing positively to the communities they operate within.
Felicity is deeply passionate about combining tax specialisation, education, and real-world support. Through Tax Espresso, she helps business owners not only meet their obligations, but truly understand their numbers, plan with confidence, and build sustainable businesses with clarity and peace of mind.

Her experience spans day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll processing, audit support, and system clean-ups — always with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
